How Does It Work?

An Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) is a device that extracts water directly from humid ambient air. By cooling air below its dew point, water vapour condenses into liquid form. With advanced multi-stage filtration, AquaHarvest™ systems render this water completely safe, mineral-rich, and potable.

Step-by-Step Process

1. Air Intake with Pre-Filter

  • Multi-layer filters remove dust, pollutants, and airborne particles.

2. AquaHarvest™ Generator

Condensation

  • A high-efficiency heat exchanger condenses humidity into water.

  • Energy consumption ranges from 0.3–0.7 kWh per litre, depending on conditions.

3. Six-Stage Purification

  • Sediment filtration

How the Machine Works

  • Humidity & Temperature Driven
    Water production depends on atmospheric humidity and temperature. Higher humidity yields greater output. Optimal performance is achieved at 44% humidity or above, though the system still produces water at lower levels.

  • Condensing Coils Convert Vapour to Liquid
    A centrifugal fan draws fresh air into the system. After electrostatic filtration, the air passes through condenser coils, cooling vapour to its dew point and triggering condensation.

  • UV Lights Sterilise the Water
    Condensed water collects in a holding tank beneath the coils. UV sterilization eliminates over 90% of bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and mould spores, while inhibiting bacterial growth. Additional carbon filtration ensures purity before final storage and dispensing.
